Your World goes abseiling to help get young people off the streets

Every night, 36,000 teenagers and young adults sleep in youth refugees, parks and in other public places. The life on the street damages the mental and physical health of the young, and Your World is proud to contribute to make a change.

The Sir Martin Foundation is a non-profit organisation created in 1990 by the late Governor of NSW, Sir David Martin, who had a dream of "safety, hope and opportunity for all young Australians". The Foundation is run by a team of passionate staff and volunteers who raise money to fund programs that work to better the lives of youth in crisis.

Fallon Gilhooley, Recruitment Consultant for Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Occupational Therapy at Your World, will tomorrow be particpiating in one of Sir Martin Foundation's many charity events to help young people on the street get a better life.

Fallon, and her colleagues at Your World, have raised money for the Urban Descent project throughout the month, and tomorrow she will be seen abseiling down the AMP building in Sydney CBD to help raise awareness for the project.

Urban Descent, which is the name of the event, will take place on the 22nd October.
